The prism table has sleek, glass legs that taper to a narrow base and support a thick marble top. We look at it as a proof of concept that glass can be both strong and beautiful. The triangular form of the table makes it inherently stable. The tapered legs funnel light from above to create a glowing appearance when placed under a lamp.
The connection between glass and marble is expressed in the form of naval bronze fittings, akin to the supports of a glass facade. These machined square buttons, while functional, also give the table texture, warmth, and a bit of glamour.
